Now what I am telling you now is a fact: often internet providers will cut down your service speed if they think that they can get away with it. The answer is to check your speeds on a regular basis and kick up s**t if you are not getting it and I bet it goes back up again. ;)

Definitely true here. Everything was going well mostly always - then slowly the stopping started and kept getting worse and worse but it was real slow over time and I wasn't aware enough to pick up on it right away. NOW it slows and I'm going to be on the phone in jig time. AND this time I'm not listening to nonsense about me having to run around the house unplugging the other TV etc. That had nothing to do with it - I think the Provider just needed time to reinstitute the correct speed.

Things are slow this PM. Just got a 504 Time out message and I assumed my post had not, well; posted :lol: It had and I deleted the duplicate but if you get a time out message I assume the last action was not completed. Incorrect assumption apparently :(

E4U chugging along fine for me today but when I started the internet my MSN homepage wouldn't open.
