Alternatively, you can just select a part from their post using copy & then paste this into your new post, then highlight that particular piece of text and while it is highlighted choose the 'Quote' button at the top of the text box, like this:
Didn't want to mislead but didn't notice the X yesterday.
I have noticed that this never seems to inport the included Smilies, well for me it doesn't.

I might be missing something but is there a shortcut to get back to the top of the page? Or back to the main menu?

Only a quote will copy the smilies if they have them in the quoted post, a copy and paste wont copy a smilie, due to the fact its only copying text from the screen (a picture is not text)

I just normally quote a post and edit the quote to the bits I want only.

Grandad:

at the bottom left of each post is a small house icon, click this and it will take you back to the top of the page.

Keefy I have just had this email from Kiya

Hi Horus, I hope you read this email, its the only way of getting in touch with you.
I have more problems on Egypt4u, after Keefy fixed the problems with photos I managed to upload 3 more photos to my album but when I try to upload the 3 photos to post it keeps asking me to login which I do & takes me back to where I was, so I tried uploading 1 photo only to post, still it asked me to login, I have tried numerous times!!!!!!!!!! pulling my hair out now!!!!!

I also tried replying to Grandad's post with his grandson & yet again it keeps asking me to login!!!!!!

I really cant do anything while it keeps asking me to login when all the time I am.

HELP as I cant even get to ask for help on the forum

Do you know what may be happening? if there is a technical answer, I may have to pass it on to her via email as it seems she cannot get onto the forum.

She needs to empty her temp internet files and cookies, that should do the trick.. nothing as changed on the login process so it must be a corrupt file or cookie on her pc

Thanks Horus for your help :) I did as Keefy suggested this aftn a number of times & shut down computer/restarted & nothing worked.

I repeated the same a few minutes ago since your email & as you can see I'm able to post again :) ........really strange :urm:

The problem started after I clicked on the green Gallery to upload photos into a post & then thats' when everything started to go wrong.

I'm wondering if I should try to upload a photo to post now, oh well nothing ventured nothing gained ;)

All's well that ends well Kiya, just so long as your sorted now, if you get any more problems of not logging on, just email me again, but deleting those cookies should have worked.
