Took ages watering and topping up my tan ... must think about an irrigation system - - -

It snow snow snowed and now it is cold cold cold AND not much of the snow melted either

Don't think its going to be a white Christmas here but grey overcast, damp & windy just now

No snow here either, but lots of rain during the night and today looks very gloomy and overcast.

After torrential rain and gale force winds this morning, the skies are now blue, the sun is shining and the wind has moderated itself a bit! Isn't it surprising how much better you feel when the sun shines?

Nice and bright here at the mo, but we did get a very brief shower of hail ealier on in the day

We warmed up sufficient to melt away all the snow but today is pretty blah looking out there. No rain but also no sun - real blah looking.

Well it has continued to be much higher than average December temperatures and this is really showing on my energy consumption.......I like global warming

Its OK for you down South Grandad, but although a lot milder weather it has still been very cold up here, so the old CH has been on pretty regular.

Christmas morning and quell surprise! It's p*****g with rain.

10 am, blue sky, light cloud, winter sun, 12 degrees.....I told you all to come and live in the Sarff East

Got soaked cleaning kennels and dog walking this morning. It wasn't heavy rain, but I didn't realise till I came back inside, just how soggy and bedgraggled I was I have 3 rotties all trying to fit under 1 radiator to dry off now. I do have lots of other radiators but only 1 that is in my view, and these 3 have to be able to see me at all times

I know what you mean Robbo, my 'shadow' is doing her best to sit on the arm of this chair even as i am typing

How I miss my cat who used to delight in giving me a tail moustache to "own" me. I've never lived alone without any kind of animal before, and still find it very odd.

MD and Horus, what a shame you both live so far away from me! I would have loved to have had both of you here with me and the OH for Christmas dinner! And little Annie would be welcome too! I don't think we'd notice the weather, do you?

What a lovely thing to say RS and of course we would have all had a good time with plenty of laughs
