I came across this one in a book of pictures.
PAREIDOLIA
We seem to have a word for everything......you just have to search for them.

So do I H, especially when laying on a lounger on a summers day looking skywards.

I personally like "Frostage." Don't know who thought it up but it is pertinent and a word I can easily remember.

I didn't know Flummery as anything but - interesting - it is both a dessert AND empty emotions.
I sometimes wonder how words are assigned their meaning(s)? How one word OR really set of sounds comes to mean this while another set of sounds comes to mean something else.

Seems like the world is full of Zabernists

Definitely these days the world seems full (although I suspect we were ALWAYS full of Zabernists 'cept we never heard about them immediately in graphic living colour daily!)

Me too LLL

I had to Google that one LLL. Apparently it means 'lack of knowledge or awareness: ignorance'
They were talking on Breakfast TV this morning about new words now officially in the Oxford English dictionary.
Words like 'twerk' and 'mint' and a latest one 'forsure' that I hear increasingly particularly among the sporting fraternity.
But one I really like is 'Affluenza' a social disease resulting from extreme materialism and excessive consumerism.

I like
Affluenza too - will add that word to my own personal dictionary of words I use
