Sunday, midday - - 24 * outside, clouds and weak sunshine. Another strawberry going pink. Very disappointed as the weather lot promised huge storms and lightning - and what did we get? half hour shower. Farmer came this morning in a very bad mood, he has the whole bottom grounds in barley and oats.

I'll bet he was happy you didn't get those thunderstorms though Jay.

Horus, he really wanted rain, so does everyone one else, they are having to water the fields of beans with the big sprayers, in the orange groves too with the drip pipes.

The rain stopped and we actually had a bit of sunshine for a couple of hours this afternoon. Warmed up some too but not too much really.

Better start to the day, but damp and overcast.

Wind storm last night but just a 'hint' of sun now so maybe maybe maybe we'll get sun here.

Not been a bad day so far reasonably dry and not too cold

Down here in the South-East it is still in double figures, temperature wise. The odd bit of sunshine breaking through too, so can't complain.

You always do get the best weather where you are RS, I reckon the rest of us should get a tax rebate

Rain, drizzle, rain, mist, drizzle, down pour, mist, drizzle - UGH - awful awful awful weather out there.

Had the most beautiful sunrise this morning. clear skies, lovely shades of orange and red streaking across them. the sun is up, but the temps are a tad chilly. Still, nothing has frozen as yet so its still great working weather for us.

Last bit of shopping and a visit to the bank prior to hibernating over the Christmas period.

Clear sky! Sunshine! Huzzah! I haven't seen a lovely morning like this in a long time.

Pavements are wet of course, yesterday's howling wind and rain but a memory. Just a bit breezy.

Like Horus the city calls for visits to bank etc. Add to this that I crashed out last night on the couch for a couple of hours, then slept in bed for another 7 hours, I feel much better in myself.

All in all a wonderful start to the day.

Well that's me done, if I have forgotten anything then tough luck. Done my last minute shopping and visiting relatives, so I will be battening down the hatches until the New Year, a few drinks, a few goodies and the good old TV
