Ewwwww - sounds like a real nasty one H. ICE works wonders and probably a good thing it bled. Hopefully the throbbing will go down soon.

Horus, I skinned my shin . OW OW OW, tried all sorts of stuff to heal the infection. After a week and still leaking I made a paste of turmeric powder, plastered my shin., let it dry and put a loose sock on. The OW stopped, the red disappeared and I am so pleased with my "net" remedy. - - - - - Oh clear blue sky and 23 * on my outside thermo.

Still mild, 15 today, and sunny with blue skies. And still many leaves are refusing to drop. This was the village at 1pm today......more like spring

We have very few leaves left now Grandad, also it has been quite blustery of late, very cold, damp and miserable

This about sums up my day. They say a picture is worth a THOUSAND words - well I'm claiming all 999 + 1 of 'em as this best describes my day today

Like the picture LLL

Just needed some colour outside and a bit out of focus and it would be a great bokeh picture

Feeling pleased, its one degree warmer here than in Luxor and my gigantic strawberry is light red so far ! There is an ominous grey bank of clouds coming, so the fire will stay in just in case - -

Well we are just in the middle of another storm, it seems as if now that the weathermen have started to give them all names we now get one per week minimum.

"Tomorrow storm ‘Desmond’ will roll in from the North Atlantic, bringing severe gales" the next day it will be 'storm' Gertie or Ethel or some other equally bizarre name that they will dream up, Anyway it is just another horrible cold wet and windy day here where I live and the wind is lifting the flaps on the outside grill of a bathroom extractor fan and the constant clacking noise is driving me mental, so now I will have to go outside in this awful weather to fix it, either that or wear earplugs all day.

Still 15 and sunny here.....................not!
It is 12, clouded over and getting windy. I have a similar rattle problem H but in my case it is the kitchen cooker hood extractor vent
The rate these storm names are going we will be through the alphabet by February

I really cannot see the point of them, cyclones yes, but high winds NO.

The problem with these vents Grandad is that they are supposed to work by lifting with the fan pressure from inside, but more often than not it is the wind outside that lifts them up and slams them down again with each gust, very annoying.

I'm getting exactly the same type of weather you folks are - wet rainy blustery and supposed going to REALLY start to STORM even MORE!!
My photo was the car windshield. Nothing but rain rain and more rain - WHICH if we're LUCKY (NOT) will end up with another "boil your water" notice!
The hummingbirds are flocking by the feeder but I haven't been able to spot any of the swans through the trees from my bac window. I hope they're still out there. I'm seeing a couple of ducks but no sign of the swans.

Storming so much here today all morning Ferry Boats were cancelled. It takes some pretty rough water to not have these boats out there. Gets pretty costly for all the truckers too if they have to sit at the terminals waiting to get onto a Ferry.
Not raining hard right now but we're getting nothing but rain rain and more rain every day. Making up for one of the driest summers ever.

A bit better for me today, looking out of my conservatory window while sitting at my PC it looks pretty bright out there, still very cold and even a glimmer of sun on the fence panels and hopefully no rain today.

Very bleak today, cold with rain and some wind rattling the bushes and trees, not even going to bother going through the door today.

Are you sure you're not living next door to me H? About the same weather here. Don't know if I'm even going to look outside let alone go outside. Already saw the alerts ALL Ferrys cancelled so if they're not running it has to be BAD
