Perhaps those earwigs are deleterious to LLL's health

The earwigs run second to the wasp or hornets nest that I found hanging off a back eave! Geez those little guys are building those gray paper nests everywhere. Was able to knock it down and escape without getting stung. Am kinda allergic so am not at all happy about going near 'em as they're real deleterious to me. The 'kinda allergic' comes in in that if I'm stung it can take me 3 weeks to get rid of immediate swelling
And - Lower Wallop doesn't sound too bad from the URL. Not too sure about some of the other Wallops though

Is gomerel at all related to Gnome? as in the notion that a gnome is foolish?

Not as far as I'm aware LLL, it just means foolish, if it were it would be spelled
gnomerel

Ah yes! Now that you spell it gnomerel I recognize the word. Didn't dawn on me to add the 'n' but when I saw 'gomerel' I had to look it up however had I read gnomerel I'd of recognized the word. Funny what different one little 'n' makes!

Not a new word by any means but a word that I just hate the new context that it is used for.
'
GUTTED' or to gut, is a verb. You 'gut' fish. I just hate the use of it as an adjective to describe someones feeling. Even politicians and sportsmen and 'the educated' are using it. "I'm gutted" is a phrase just too frequently used and I abhore it.
But, because it is used SO frequently, it will find its way into the Oxford dictionary......and so the beautiful English language will decline even further.

"I'm gutted" is occasionally heard here. Not too often but it does come out from time to time. The phrase I don't particularly like is "taking the ****" ..... I get it but really do that really really really describe? Course I don't like the continual insertion of the world "like" into everything either.
