I'm on my way down to you tonight my Dear with a box of mackerel!!
I can disable the bloody snowflakes but it means my pages all look stripped to the bone so I have to just bear them till the New Year I suppose !
Horus, because Keefy locked the topic I couldn't reply to you
My resolution and my mission for 2010 is to get you reading Al Jazeera and Haaretz to get your news, and I have infected your computer with a bug that will open your computer every day on the home pages of both!
because Ebikatsu is going to whack Keefy about the head with the box of them for putting these bleeding snowflakes on my screen where I have to restart my computer all the time coz it freezes and if I disable it the pages are half naked so the mack is on it's way to Keefy's house and I'll be there tomorrow to start proceedings

I fell in to a burning ring of fire . . . . I went down down down and the flames went higher . . . and it burns, burns, burns . . that ring of fire, that ring of fire!
[face=Comic Sans MS]Well I traweled my way through all of the 'Poor Egypt4u' thread very late last night and was about to log on to add my two pennorth when I noticed it was locked - not amused. I'm not sure I understand why!
Ebi, in response to you - I try to read many of your posts about Egypt as I think they can be helpful to those of us who don't have little daily contact with what is really going on or in the news. I may stay clear of some of the more politial post though - but then I steer clear of much of the UK politics too! Don't be put off posting - we need a wide cross section of active members and posts to make the forums interesting and varied.
Equally, I'm not sure why this thread is in Pol & Rel. [/face]

I sometimes think in many situations that are dangerous one just acts. No time to think - just act and you don't even consciously make a decision about it.
We said yesterday, how about a short break by rail. A friend went to Marseille last year and my wife suggested we go for a few days. We have already decided...

Geez I'd be super up to be taking that train ride and that fare is super good for that distance too.
In the wake of the deadly Badrashin train crash Monday, which left 19 people dead and 117 injured, a Transportation Ministry report shows the country has experienced an average 550 train wrecks per...

Not terribly impressive. I was taking the train from Cairo to Luxor when it hit something (middle of the night) in that there was a crack, crash and grinding halt. Wasn't really stopped for long. I...
MD's account of chasing balloons in the recovery vehicle took me back to our own early morning pick ups when we took flights over Luxor. Gliding silently over houses on the West Bank with people...

Luxor people are innately hospitable. If anything this is even more pronounced in the country areas. I know them well, I respect them and wish there were more communities in this world like them.
I've been talking today to a chap from Cameron Balloons who has just come back from visiting a couple of companies in Luxor.
He said the there were a surprising number of visitors in Luxor, mostly...
