Really annoying
Today I thought I had mislaid a receipt for a payment I had made at my bank, nothing serious but obviously it does contain some personal information. I could only assume I may have dropped it inside the bank as I only had one of two envelopes when I went to put them away. So I thought I would phone my local branch as I know everyone in there and enquire if anything had been handed in, simple you may think? Was it hell, after trawling through loads of numbers all of which gave me no real option for what I wanted I eventually got through to a human being. After explaining my situation I was told in a not unfamiliar India accent that they were unable to give me a local branch number!!!!

When I wanted to speak to my bank I was put through to a call centre.
