Did you re-cover an old footstool or did you buy like a blank and cover it?

No, LLL. I made it from scratch. DH cut the plywood, we already had an old foam cushion, I had the fabric, we ordered the feet and DH stained and varnished them, and I found a large button and covered it! Voila! :up One tuffet.

Was this hard to do on the corners? I historically and practically avoid sharp corners much preferring ROUND edges.

Any special sewing challenges to getting this to fit square? (asking cause I know this had to take more talent & effort than doing a round one)

I do love the word TUFFET too :)

It was an absolute pig! But I have so many scraps left over that I need to make another one to get rid of them! :lol:

I have enough fabric scraps I swear they're in the sewing room breeding and multiplying overnight. I can't ever seem to get down to just the fabric I've bought by the yard.

I thought making a square one would be more difficult but it does look GORGEOUS! :)
