Well, the top picture reminds me of Luxor in 1989 when there was just a pile of rocks to clamber over to reach the boats.

The second picture reminds me of the old Sheraton swimming pool area.

Is there a prize?

No real prize other than I feel I've won the booby prize in that the snow is STILL here and not leaving and "I" could have still been, SHOULD have still been in the sun!

I'm a Maid of Kent.

Born the wrong side of the river, but only just as I was actually born and bred in a Medway town.

South of the river so I suppose that makes me a Man of Kent.

Born and bred (but have seen a lot of the world) and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

LLL Kent is known as the Garden of England. A beautiful county and the only one to use diplomacy with the Romans when they entered the UK though I'm not sure if that was clever or cowardly, myself.

Ahhhh - didn't realize that about Kent (gardens) and hmmm - I'd have to think on it a bit to know if being diplomatic with the Romans was actually a good thing or not.

LLL, Kent was called the Garden of England because there is so much fruit, vegetables and hops grown here. Other counties could equally claim the title and I think I heard that Yorkshire wanted to be known by that title. No chance.
