I'll take driving on snow well over driving on ice. We get black ice here which can make driving extremely treacherous. Am always on the look out for areas the trees shade the roads and don't get the sun on them.

I think I put a "what am I doing today" answer on another thread but essentially today, cause it is so cold outside, will probably be an 'in house' day (maybe).

I'm a right misery today! We were going to go and look for a new cooker but neither of us really felt like going anywhere. Oh well, let's hope the antibiotics start to work quickly because I'm even getting bored with my iPad! :(

After a very bad night when DH started hitting me with a pillow, I got up at 3.45am. I think today will be spent curled up on the settee with a pillow and blanket to see if I can doze off. At the moment, if someone offered to shoot me, I would probably accept! :(

Both of you looking good! Am sure you're also both still very handsome men! ;)

@RS - doesn't sound good. Hope you're feeling better real soon. Hot water in your lap with a towel over your head help? (I do that and/or sit in the shower)

Today I'm off to a deep acupuncture appointment in my hip then will have the grandkids over for a sleep over.

And we both had plenty of hair in those days LLL. Today what little hair I have soon gets sorted with a grade one trimmer all over. Another advantage of ageing, no barbers bills.

@Grandad - I guess old age has to have some perks and savings! The daughter regularly buzzes off the twins and her husband. The twins actually prefer their hair short but I think that is cause they don't like to have to brush it!

Just getting ready now to head out and GEEZ what a dreary looking day. Totally grey. Raining (at least not snowing!) hard, totally foggy ..... just a real yucky looking day to have to cross the door.

Son in Law has just bought a new sporting gun and tried it out yesterday. The score was Dave 2 rabbits, ferrets one rabbit. So the foxes will have a treat this evening BUT I am putting one out untouched so they can do the butchery.

An ambulance call early this morning resulted in some tests being done and quite a long while waiting in the waiting room for the doctor to check the results of E.C.G's etc. Then I was told they were waiting for a ward to come and collect me as soon as they could free up a bed! I am now at home! The general consensus medically seems to be that I am in for a rough time while the antibiotics make me feel worse before I feel better. :( My dearly beloved is being absolutely brilliant in his care for me - bless him millions!

Just remember RS, you both probably said "In sickness and in health"
You would do the same for him.

Our sincere good wishes for a speedy recovery and get well soon.
