To market to market .......

Went to the market a couple of days ago. Just a few photos of the day showing some of the sights and sound and views of market day.

Most of the photos are pretty self explanatory as to what was being sold or done. LOTS of handicrafts, live music and everybody showing off their wares & hobbies.

Looks like you have had a couple of nice days out LLL, the market looks nice, but you would never get those lovely looking mis-shaped carrots past our EU regulators who would insist they were all straight. Your Blackberries look good too we have had a good crop this year in the UK and I have cooked quite a lot with other fruit such as apples and pears and then frozen them.

This particular market goes year round. Lots of our markets are seasonal and a couple times per week but this one is every Saturday. This particular market also has vendors from all the different wineries who offer taste-testing (granted in small little thimble sized cups BUT enough to usually get a line up happening at their booth.)

Lots of knitting, crocheting, home made preserves, baked goods, various cheeses, sausages etc too to say nothing of all the hobby type items i.e. wind chimes made of old spoons, kites, carved bowls, jewelery, key chains and on and on.
