Keefy has checked out the spamming PM issue and as I promised the perpetrators account has been deleted. It would seem that they have also sent some other members a spam PM which hopefully have now all been deleted, but should you find one in your inbox then just delete it.

I had another very convincing looking email from 'Paypal' today. Very sneakilly they list the 'from' as a genuine Paypal address but when I check closely , it is from some other address, unrelated. Good God, we do have to be on our metal to beat these scum

Normally I deal with spam as a matter of course, when it pops up in my email box, but it was the last thing I expected to see on here, in my PM inbox, Grandad! Still, all dealt with now, thank goodness!
