I actually do listen to the Stewards and Stewardesses who do the little promo speech prior to any flight taking off. I've never had to search for a life jacket but have wondered if they're actually down there and kinda is a pet peeve that those in first class might get better life saving gear than me back in economy.

Definitely more entertaining and imparting info than having the Stewardesses/Stewards stand in the aisle and essentially mime to the canned speech re: safety.
