Do you know Kiya I had not even realised it, but thanks all the same
Mrs H always used to remind me because it was her brothers birthday.

Re: 23rd April
How very kind of you Kiya
Thank you very much
I hope one of us remember to return the compliment on November 30th
I wonder if by then Scotland will be destined to become an independent country and our national flag will change. I doubt it but if recent polls are correct, the gap is closing.

Re: 23rd April
Yes it would be a shame if the Union were to break up for no real good reason and it will be like having a good friend or someone close to you who says they are going to emigrate and they will no longer be a part of your social circle. You are torn between not wanting them to go because you will miss them and not wanting the friendship to end, but on the other hand realising that they may want to do different things with their lives and not wanting to stand in their way. I for one hope that they vote to stay, all the things that have made Great Britain great have been achieved by our mutual efforts and no one nation alone and although being proud of your individual nationality is fine, we should not lose our greater identity as an island race defined by our union under one flag.

Re: 23rd April
I'm not sure where I'm at as far as voting goes, I guess I'm still sitting on the fence & yet I think why change now after all this time since July 1603 when James 6th became James 1st of England uniting the countries & still today.
I'm Scottish whatever happens

That's just the way I feel about it Kiya, I am English first and then British, but refuse to be called a European.
