Nice one LLL!
First time I visited Luxor,I went with sister.She had already seen all the sights and didn't want to go again.She had visited before and both her and her (Scottish) husband had already made friends there...so a well meaning Egyptian friend decided to arrange "day out"for me with very (young) sweet guide!!!
I was bit apprehensive about trotting around place on my own,so did next best thing and went with a complete stranger!!!
Well...he stopped caleche at block of flats and told me he would show me his home.
Once there he made me cup of coffee....then proceeded to remove his shirt!!!
Thought I'd never get out alive...but was slightly miffed when I asked him what he thought he was doing and he replied that he was going to get washed to pray!!!
Ah well....we can all dream!lol!!!!

@ Grandad - I dunno.........I think this gesture started before she knew how to cut and paste onto E4U......Jayway is also my primary source of jokes so when I cut and paste 'em here I feel I need to give her credit!!

Well - going out with a stranger IS kinda my style but I've never been so lucky as to have a complete stranger invite me to their home for tea and then strip off for me...........I'm never lucky like that! (They must all be scared stiff I'd assume they wanted to be one of my husbands! )
