When the fan is spreading manure, what are you going to do ?

Egypt has both Christian and Moslem communities and the politics of the Middle East are equally diverse. Air your views on the situation.

What happens after banks collapse, financial systems rupture, and nobody has any cash?

It's not like this has never happened before now, is it...

Here's how some people solve the problem.

The system has it's flaws that will become apparent in time, but as a temporary measure, it's very good.. Maybe we could lessen our dependency on cash, and realise that we really dont need most of the "stuff" we own..

Personally, I am a fan of Jacque Fresco and his "Venus Project".. 8)

I am a believer in what goes around, comes around, so No doubt that the present system will go through a rough patch, but it will survive in one form or another, even the most drastic collapse of the system will not stop it building back up again, after all it's only money and its only the peasants that are losing it, vested interests will make sure of that.

As to the materialistic thing, well I agree with that, we do have an awful lot of things in our lives that we don't really need. Sometimes I think to myself do I really need this? To some degree I have managed to throw off the must have the latest gadget habit and I certainly don't replace working items just because there is a newer version available. However I would misss my PC and camera because they form a big part of my life and enjoyment :) I have managed to dispose of one item and I never give it a second thought anymore, mobile phone, I never even bother to switch it on unless I am out for a walk and half the time I forget to do that.

Oh, I have no doubt that technology is good and can enhance our lives.
no point in standing still. We need to put differences aside and move forward as one.

I have studied the Venus project, it is about utilising the technology and enhancing it, so we have machines and computers doing our work for us, so that we can enjoy our lives.
If we don't work, then we don't earn a wage, so money becomes irrelevant.

The Venus project focuses upon a resource based economy.
In this economy, no one could hoard anything or make it scarce to increase it's value.

We all have what we need, and we focus upon environmentally friendly energy and the free energy that exists in the world.

The above is a very simplistic over view of the Project, you do need to read it through to realise that it is in fact a viable alternative.

This would of course mean that the Bankers loose their power over Governments, as does the oil industry.
In effect, making Governments and Banks irrelevant, religion too.
Eventually we would not even need Law enforcement, because crime would also end.

I kind of imagine that this is the way a perfect human global society could be created.
No Wars, no Poverty, total Free choice, no Money, No Job, no effort, no savings..
Without all that baggage, we could all put our minds together and work as ONE and achieve many great things in the future, and move on up the evolutionary ladder, get our priorities in life right, and maybe even explore space.
People are basically good, it's the laws, money, and competition that makes them bad by default.

I will warn you all, that there are dark clouds on the horizon. It's how we react that will make the difference.

If the system breaks, how can we allow those who created and perpetuated the system to have the audacity to hand us a solution ?
Our lives are short here, and we should not allow it to be played about with, as if we are just an experiment.

Much technology has been strangled by Bankers and oil companies.
Read about Fred Dibnah's rant about oil companies, he knew the score. Look what Nikola Tesla achieved !( The bankers initially funded him, then pulled the funding on the Tesla tower on Satton island). He died with some 1,500 Patents outstanding, and that was many decades ago... It can be done.

It's not fanciful thinking, people must work together as one, and think for themselves and try to break out of this dependency on authority and religion. They are irrelevant. We will one day learn that and wonder ho we ever allowed it to happen in the first place..
