Re: Sense of Humour
@Grandad - the Flying Karamazov Brothers were acrobats soooo I took it that the rabbits were doing some sort of acrobatic move........yes? That is how I took it. Mostly I wasn't too terribly impressed with any of those answers.

To be honest my attention was drawn to the lower animal's back feet. I just had to enlarge the picture, to examine these tiny fur covered toes stretched to their fullest extent. Wonderful.
Smile! It confuses people

Re: Sense of Humour
There are usually two such caption competitions on the other forum each month and most respondents are in the USA. The reason I posted this is because I can detect a different sense of humour between US and British contributors. There is never any double entendre in US humour and it usually seems bland to me and often I don't get the point.
Just something that occurred to me.

Re: Sense of Humour
@Grandad you're right.
Personally I do not like much humour that come from the USA. It is bland, often nasty and based on rude crude shouted at extremely high volume remarks that get a slight giggle (but more like when people are shocked or uncomfortable at the high level of rudeness however as this type of joke telling is so common this shock value is gone). There is rarely a play on words or anything terrible sophisticated about their humour.
There are a few American comedians I like with Jeff Foxworthy being one of them as he his humour comes from his observations of American life that he then exaggerates. He isn't mean or nasty either.
I also find African American humour to be so bad and profanity ridden I refuse to listen to or watch it.
British comedians are IMO the BEST!

Re: Sense of Humour
I love Jeff Foxworthy some of his observations are brilliant, I also have an American friend who sounds just like him when he talks about Rednecks

Re: Sense of Humour
Foxworthy's humour is geared to exaggerating all the flaws and foibles related to the Rednecks but it is also funny. He doesn't try to personally insult or drag them down or belittle. He takes a funny scenario and explains it in a funny way much like Red Skelton used to do and very UNLIKE a comedian like Don Rickles who was all about screaming, insulting, belittling, humiliating people. To this day I have no idea how Rickles ever gained the popularity that he had. I never saw him as funny in the least.
