Since a few of us have the option of getting Netflix........

Today I watched: The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind (based on a true story) and there has also been a book written about this young man. Interesting movie (about 2 hours).

Any other suggestions for a movie or a TV series?

We are newbies to Netflix and in our free trial month. This evening we finished series 1 of The Crown and will now go on to series 2. This is excellent TV and a change from the usual offerings on the regular channels.
I understand that series 3 will be available later in the year with a lot of new casting including Olivier Coleman. :up

Looking forward to series 3 of The Crown later on.

Grandad did you know on Netflix anything you fancy watching you can add them to

your list "My List " for watching later on.

Last night I started watching a series called "Lucifer" which is something of a 'who done it' police/Detective show. I thought it cute, light, funny (not a laugh out loud funny but cute funny) and the main actor "Tom Ellis" from Cardiff, Wales very good in his role as Lucifer. Watched two episodes last night and will watch another couple tonight.

Watched Lucifer last night again. It is ok, very light TV watching.

Also started to watch another series (6 Seasons worth) from a few years back called "The Good Wife." Only watched the first episode of Season 1. It is lawyers/courtroom/suspense/drama/romance etc. Seems to have a good rating and I liked the introductory episode. I think it'll be a good one.

One thing I like about Netflix - I can watch a movie then fill in with one or two episodes of a TV series per night and not have to endure commercials.

We have just watched the first episode of Netflix new offering, One Planet. Stunning photography, so much so that many scenes appear to be 3D.
This is a general intro episode with specific episodes to follow. Can't wait to continue watching...

We have enjoyed watching the first 3 seasons of Lucifer. Season 4 coming soon.
I have One Planet on standby to be watched soon.
Netflix is a good alternative to all the other production companies with some very original concepts.
Have you seen Afterlife with Ricky Gervais yet?

I have watched about four episodes of the new One Planet programme and I can confirm that it is superbly made and on a 4K Smart TV the images do appear to be almost 3D as Grandad mentioned.
