Re: KIYA LAS VEGAS
Really good pictures Kiya, all of them Were you using the Canon or something else?
I love the Big Band setting, that really takes me back to when we had big bands touring in the 50's and 60's. What a great sound they make. Wish I could have been there with you for that one

Re: KIYA LAS VEGAS
Thanks Grandad You really would have enjoyed it.
For such a small person she has such a powerful voice.
Every photo I've shown of our holiday was taken with Roy's old mobile he gave me
but, I still like the feel of the camera in my hands

Re: KIYA LAS VEGAS
Just looked closely at the next to last picture at the Lady GaGa concert. I now see what you mean about mobile phones. I thought they just had their arms in the air as is the way at pop concerts, but no, they are all taking snaps. I like that one

Re: KIYA LAS VEGAS
I like some of Lady GaGa's songs and would have enjoyed her concert. As you say such a large voice for such a tiny person.
Seems most Las Vegas productions are big big big and bigger than big I would have liked to see Celine Dion when I was there but she wasn't performing then nor was Cirque du Soleil.
Terrific photos for using an old mobile! All were awesome. Thank you for sharing your holiday with us.

Re: KIYA LAS VEGAS
5.2.19 On our way home, this has to be quickest and shortest takeoff I've ever been
on, leaving Heathrow - Aberdeen within seconds we were
way up and enjoying the sunset
There would have been a lot more photos if I hadn't missed the first few days I was
ill, Hope you all enjoyed seeing them

Re: KIYA LAS VEGAS
Thanks for posting all those pictures of your trip Kiya. Shame you were unwell some of the time but you still managed to pack a lot into your visit to Vegas
But we were all waiting for pics of the skydive Perhaps you can do that nearer to home
And that son of yours sounds a very special guy who thinks a lot of his mum, good on ya Roy

Re: KIYA LAS VEGAS
Fantastic photography report of your holidays. I enjoyed visiting and seeing Las Vegas again myself Loved them all.
IMO Las Vegas is the type of tourist place you'd like to see once. Not too sure I'd ever want to live there but it was interesting to see as almost everything there is over the top huge and larger than life.
When I was there I never left what is known as "The Strip" which is the casino area. The surrounding area looks pretty bleak from a distance. Am sure seeing the desert would have been interesting but I just never got there so my memories of Las Vegas are that of casinos and neon lights.
