On Breakfast TV this morning they interviewed David Katz, a photographer. But David is no ordinary photographer because he is classed as legally blind. From birth he has had serious visual deficiency but he was intent on becoming a photographer and, as he says, all things are possible.
To give some measure of his vision he said that when reading the Snellen chart at the opticians, with one eye he could not even see the light box with the letters and with his other eye he can only see the largest top letter. That would make his vision 0.1 or 20/200
He specialises in pictures of personalities from the world of sport, entertainment, and politics; and all are of a candid portrait style. I was very impressed with the man and his work particularly being a photographer with very limited vision.

Re: Blind Photographer
WOW that is very impressive. I can SEE and sometimes my photos are (ahem) less than ok so the delete button gets a workout.
