Re: Where's Kiya?
Well I certainly hope not, I notice that Kiya pops in most days for a look and I suppose that there is not much going on at the moment to catch her interests or she is happy to just read. I hope that it is not because Roy has left her too many jobs to do while he is away that she has no time. Perhaps we need to get another tutorial goingRuby Slippers wrote:Kiya, are you just reading and not commenting or is there something wrong?

Re: Where's Kiya?
I thought Kiya commented on something just the other day and I assumed she was busy still swamping out after Roy left! ......but hoping she is ok too.

Re: Where's Kiya?
I'm ok folks, thanks for your asking as Horus says I do look in every morning but, not much I can add to when reading your posts.
Roy has left me with no jobs to do or at his place as he has tenants in there, why leave the place empty for a year while he is Canada , might as well get tenants in & pay the mortgage/c/tax , thankfully they are very good tenants.
Not sure yet if he will be staying for a second year.....
I haven't been out & about with my camera due to the weather not been good to us for a while now, I have taken some sun setting photos through my window but not so good for downloading.
On a sadder note tomorrow my daughter & hubby will be attending her nephews funeral he was only 24 and committed suicide, he had been suffering with deep depression for a long time, I can only imagine the hurt his mum & dad are going through, such a good looking caring young man, I hope he is at peace now with himself

Re: Where's Kiya?
Sorry about your sad family news Kiya, but look on the bright side, Roy is enjoying himself and making a go of his life so there are some good things happening in the world. This awful weather is depressing and there is little you can actually do other than around the house, I haven’t taken my big camera out for ages. Still once we get Christmas out of the way things usually pick up and we have a complete new year to look forward to, longer days, warmer days, out and about seeing the leaves bursting out on the trees again, birds nesting and singing and the opportunity to get out a lot more, roll on Spring is all I can say.

Re: Where's Kiya?
Oh, Kiya that is so sad, severe depression is terrible thing to endure. May the young man now rest in peace and my condolences to his family and friends.
Not forgetting that we are glad that you are OK.

See Kiya, we missed you. Glad all is well with you and Roy.
I add my own condolences to your daughter and (I assume) her inlaw family. Tragic for one so young to be overcome with depression. I hope he is now at peace......very sad.

Re: Where's Kiya?
Thank you folks I'm always here with you all even though I'm very quiet at times.
It will be a very sad day tomorrow for all but, as life we have to carry on and I can only thank goodness my own son not much older is doing very well for himself
Roll on Christmas and New Year and get that over with and hopefully some better weather for us all to get out and about again with or without cameras

Re: Where's Kiya?
Condolences to you and your daughter and her in-law family on their loss.
Any loss such as this is deeply painful and the question of 'why' can be fore front in the mind and insurmountable as everyone usually seeks an answer to an unanswerable question. Very tragic loss.
