@RS - Do you have Microsoft Office Picture Manager?
If you open your picture in that there is a real easy EDIT (top bar) and then go to the RIGHT side of the screen and you'll see all the EDIT functionis. Go to the very bottom to "RESIZE" button. Size it to Document Small (800 x 600) and it'll easily fit on E4U.

Different operating system to Windows, but I am sure if you look in the Apple Store you will find a photo resize app RS.

Just be nice if you could post pictures too as doing that adds so much more personalization to the thread

Re: Amaryllis Challenge??
I did a series of 4 wall hangings recently, Horus, to go on a plain white wall.

Whoopee! Another picture poster. Come on MD, time for you to get sorted now.
RS they are very interesting pieces of work. What with LLL, and Horus and now you; we have a lot of skills around here.

MINERVA HAS A TINY TIP OF A SHOOT SHOWING!
This was the first flower of Monte Carlo opening on Sunday, the flower is 7 3/4 inches by 8 inches - only 4 blooms though.
Trust me to get it round the wrong way!

@MD - Monte Carol is GORGEOUS! That is a lovely contrast of colours on the bloom too.
PERFECT for Christmas season - the contrasting red & white

Re: Amaryllis Challenge??
The Monster is now on its way out with several flowers starting to wilt, the first Tesco bulb which is white in colour has really grown huge and is now nearly the height of my kitchen window and about to bloom.
The second Red coloured Tesco bulb is still growing (slowly)
That leaves 'Tres Chic' which will be in all its glory over the Christmas holidays

Re: Amaryllis Challenge??
Don't get me wrong, I do admire all your successes folks but if, as you say, they are so easy to grow WHY CAN'T I?
I would like to be in a position to show mine but one was collected by the bin men today and the other is on a coffee table in the lounge with a central shoot about an inch tall and hasn't moved for a week or two. Can you wonder I have given up. Life is just too short.
