Am back and had an absolutely terrific time sailing about and around. Flew to Houston and had a day strolling the NASA Space Centre. It was information overload and I could have camped out for, at least, a week to just marvel at the scientific advances related to space travel that we - "WE" as in us humans - have made.

Left Houston Texas sailed for 4 days to Columbia (Cartagena) - fascinating. More sailing and went through the Panama Canal - riveting. Costa Rica is a definite gotta return there place and then on to Mexico. I'd been to Cabo San Lucas but did note it has grown considerably. Acapulco is a HUGE city that never stops. Found it - ummm - not terribly interesting. Just too big, dirty and crumbling. Huatulco was phenomenally humid but am thinking I'll be returning there.

For whatever reason as we sailed up the west coast of the USA the San Diego stop evaporated (they substituted Victoria CANADA!!!! OMG - 2 hours from where I live!!!!) however San Francisco was fun and Astoria pleasant.

Met several nice couples whom I will now keep in touch with.

Soon as I get all the photos off the camera I'll be posting and elaborating more!
