I agree it looks lovely where you live Kiya and just across the road from a quick paddle

Re: VIEW FROM ABOVE
It sure is lovely I wouldn't change it for anything.
In the 1st picture the tide is out showing some of the rugged rocks which on times gone by some boats have ran aground.

I know you can get some wild weather Kiya but the nice days make up for it. Lovely part of our coastline.

Surprised me, the land is so flat, bet you get really good wind there -- did you get your building re-inforcing finished?

Re: VIEW FROM ABOVE
Very lovely photos and a really unique perspective on your seascape area. Really nice. Your water is a lovely blue too. I was going to ask if the tide was high or low but you beat me to the question with your answer.
Is there a big difference when the tide goes out? Is the water moving a lot?

Re: VIEW FROM ABOVE
Looking at the 1st picture the tide goes further out at times, beyond the rocks just, there is sand dunes, on very bad weather days the sands reach the surface till all goes calm then recedes.
As for my house been re-inforced- no.....it was built pre war 1930's of solid foundations & 2 ft thick walls all of which is granite...........my house was the last to built of granite & when the war was over they started to build again from the building next to mine going to the right of picture towards the harbours.
The winds can be very strong sometimes especially coming from the North, there is 1 day I can remember in 20 yrs I've lived here it was so bad the froth blowing from the sea was coming full force above the grass area & street onto our windows that we couldn't see out for a few days............but on saying that I do love watching the changing of tides & when we see the changing of mixed colours of blues, greens & turquoise.
Its the best view from all around my home town non spoiled by any work force..................till maybe someday they decide to put wind turbines but, hopefully not !
