NEW KITCHEN
I'm very happy to have my new kitchen fitted, as you can see it's a small kitchen but everything we need is there apart from my under the counter freezer which I moved into a cupboard in the hall giving me more cupboard space in the kitchen
I was very impressed with the plumber's work seeing all the pipes & all straight & tidy, a big improvement
It's not totally finished yet, I have to decide what kind of lighting on the roof also maybe a roller blind for window...............and surprise today from Roy ( part birthday pressie for me ) he has ordered 4 breakfast bar stools for me

Re: NEW KITCHEN
Ohhhhhhhhh Kiyaaaaaaaaa - your kitchen is BEAUTIFUL!!! Your cabinets gorgeous. I love the lines of the design in your cabinet doors - lovely!!
And the roses are superb too. Very lovely.
It is remarkable what plumbers can do with pipes going in all directions and electricians with wires going everywhere too. Nearly cried when I saw the MESS in my downstairs little kitchen but when it was done it looked terrific.
Great job and great colour combination too.

Re: NEW KITCHEN
It's all looking very nice Kiya and your plumber has made a nice neat job, just remember that tap looking thing at the bottom is the 'stop valve' and turns everything off if you get a leak My only question is "do you think 4 breakfast stools will be enough when we all visit?"

Re: NEW KITCHEN
I chose the style of unit doors, I wanted to have a country cottage style kitchen, it must have worked cause Roy thinks its old fashioned I gave him the choice of splashback between the units, he choose black in colour till I noticed the red sparkly splashback ( got to have a touch of bling ) Roy thinks he chose it so I've let him think it
The roses were from my youngest grandson yesterday for my birthday & very nice too
Horus.... ok, now I know what that tap is for .......just incase but I hope not & don't worry about seating I'll fit you all in somehow

Re: NEW KITCHEN
FYI I take my cuppa with a splash of milk!
Sometimes the simplest things - as in cupboard doors - now come in mega styles and patterns which always makes for many decisions. I love the pattern you've picked and I'm not sure it is 'old fashioned' at all. I'd call it more timeless and classic as it is a pattern that will continue for years. I particularly like the arch with a sweep at the top.
The red really gives it a punch too..........nice. It really works. Interesting thing is I love the colour and what you've done but I'm pretty sure I would have picked a neutral tone. Always seems I do in the end when I'm doing stuff. I think about colour and like colour but then in the end I chicken out and go with something neutral.

Re: NEW KITCHEN
Something wrong with that picture Grandad, I cannot see Brad Pitt on the bench, or is someone else standing in for me?

Re: NEW KITCHEN
Kiya, it looks lovely! I'm a bit put out that I haven't been invited in for a cuppa, though!

Re: NEW KITCHEN
So that's all settled then have we made any particular arrangements or do we just turn up at the church?
