I did no personal research on this matter so can't verify if these dollar amounts are correct or not however the sentiment is a good one in that prior to giving please give to where it is going to actually do the most good.

Goodwill is a very catchy name for his business. You donate to his business and then he sells the items for PROFIT.
He pays nothing for his products and pays his workers minimum wage! Nice Guy.
