A great link RS :up always a good idea to put a little something to say what it is about rather than just a link. ;)
It is a lovely morphing montage of our Qeen Elizabeth II showing her from a baby until present day, what a lovely smile and how people change without seeming to, Mrs H noticed a good resemblance between her and Margaret in some pictures.

WOW that was amazing!

I went to the V&A to see an exhibition of photographs of the Queen taken by Cecil Beaton. It struck me than, and also when I saw one of the Diamond Jubilee documentaries, how much the Queen is actually like her grandmother, Queen Mary, in looks and mannerisms. Both of those also brought out how much Princess Anne is like the Queen - particularly as young girls and now as Princess Anne is older. It has come out again that video, but I could also see where Prince Charles gets some of his features from too.

No need for apologies Ruby S, just a gentle reminder so that others know what the post is about ;)

I heartily agree about the resemblance to Queen Mary, she is a dead spit of her now she is older, Mrs H and I were making the same comment only the other day while watching a great TV program on the monarchy (forgot what it was called now  ) Something else that leapt out in the program which was full of Royal Family pictures was to dispel the myth that some people put about regarding Prince Harry not looking like his father. There are plenty of 'Gingers' in the ancestry and one guy in particular who Harry resembles to a Tee, you could have put the old and new photo's along side each other and not told the difference.

I think we must have seen the same programme because it also dispelled for me, were it needed, the myth of the full parentage of the Queens two youngest sons too!
