Re: Your own Language
Coming from Canada (and now being in the USA) if I wanted to ask you in to sit down I'd say come on in and rest the bones on the "chesterfield".......chesterfield in the USA means a pack of cigarettes......
I put on my "toque which is my ski hat"........and if I was play hide and seek in the trees I'd "deke" about the bushes.
The twins give 'nuggies,' eat 'anamanas' and Carson is called "Coquhar" by his brother who can't say his name.

Re: Your own Language
I am taking lessons in 'Jock' at the present time.....I just read responses to Kiyas posts from her friends on FacebookHorus wrote:I can understand 'Jock' Kiya we have a West Highland terrier
I can't think of anything off the cuff but the youngsters have a language of their own. I remember when I was young words like 'mush' a man, 'chav or chavvy' a young male, 'bint' a young girl. These came from the gypsy fraternity; and also 'scrump' to steal, like scrumping apples. 'pester me' give me... etc
