Hi and welcome Melissa.

I'm not a teacher but you may find some helpful advice here from others.

What kind of teacher are you?

What sort of position are you after?

I would suggest you look at the American/British/Canadian schools.

There are so many International schools in Egypt, but really they are not good.

If you go to one of the UK or USA affiliated ones you will get a higher salary.

If you are in Cairo you could try these ones which have a fairly good name.

Hi there.

Sorry can't help with the teaching thing, but there is an Irish school as well that Ebi has managed to miss off her list. If I can find the last copy of the BCA mag I'll add that web address too.

Phew - thought I chucked that last magazine out!
http://irishschoolcairo.com/primary2.htm

Just went and looked at the website though and it's only a little place - but with you being Irish it may be a good starting block to try for until you find something more suitable?

Yes thanks Melissa.
My day has been great. I feel semi cleansed!!! LOL

Just waiting for hubby to get back and when he does he'll kill me because I've spent a few hours in the garden totally pruning about a 1/4 of my shrubs to the ground :?
This garden is really getting on my nerves now and today I just hacked it to pieces and now the grass is totally covered with 3 mountains of clippings and I don't think he'll manage to get from the gate to the back door tonight

Oh My GAWD!!!!

He's just called me and said he's thinking of inviting the whole family round tomorrow for a barbecue and asking me if that's okay before confirming!!!

There's half a calf coming and my garden is like a war zone!!! :?

I described it and he said it's okay he'll clear it all early tomorrow!!

Bloody hell he doesn't know what it looks like!!

:?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh God why did I choose today of all days to do the pruning????? :?

If you don't see me tomorrow it's because he managed to clear it all and we are all having a whale of a time, OR!! I'm in 6th October Cemetery
