What question would you ask?
OK this is a bit of a fantasy thread, you are allowed ask a simple question of any person from ancient Egypt or someone having a connection to it, so for example you may ask a question of say Khufu or the Roman, Mark Anthony.
The idea is that if they could answer, it would then lead us to prove or to disprove some existing theory or clear up some other mystery.
So say who your question is directed at, then ask your question and then say why you would like to know the answer, I will start us off.

My question is to Ramesses the Great
My question is: Did you ever meet a Jewish leader called Moses?
My reason for this question is that there is so much controversy over the biblical ‘Exodus’ that if he had met him, then it would give us an accurate timeline for many other events that seem to fit his own reign as pharaoh, but conflict with biblical dates.

A good question Horus
My question would be to Khafre :- " Why did your family appear to build their Pyramids inline with Orions Belt?"
My reason for asking Khafre rather than Khufu this question is that if Khufu had not built his Great Pyramid for that intention the 2 that followed seemed to have?
The reason for asking this question in the first place is whether they had an insight that had been past down to them which as now been lost?

My next question is to Queen Hatshepsut.
"were you and the architect Senemut actually lovers?"
My reason for asking is because there has always been much speculation as to why he is depicted on her mortuary temple, the discovery of graffiti that seems to show him having sex with the Pharaoh and he appears never to have married. Also he was from a very humble background and after she took over the throne, his importance and influence grew considerably.

Zahi is really popular on the TV here! He IS sitting on a veritable TV series empire cause everything he does that comes on TV here makes prime time.
I would want to ask the common man (the blue collar worker) about his daily day? I want to know what his daily pattern of living was like? Was he paid daily? How many hours did he have to work? What happened when he got too old? What tools did he use? Did he have to bring his own?
I have an insatiable curiosity about 'daily living' of people now and in the past.

An interesting question BillH, but would that not be like saying "My granny would have been 120 years old this year, if she had not died when she was aged 53 years"
What I mean to say is, are you implying that you still think he is alive? or would you be using the year 2011 to count backwards to obtain the exact year of his birth?
