Re: Taken for a ride
Ok ladies - we've let the boys push out and beat on their chests and do the (ahem) "male thing"." We've now let them all think that 'they've told us' and have now re-established the pecking order.
Don't you all love it when it is so simple and easy to pander to the male mind and ego?
I love it when they profess to wanting to drive the 'scenic' route adding 200+km to the car rather than ask for a direction or look at the map themselves. The poor souls are always so proud of themselves when they finally pull into the right place!
Personally I can read a map 'no problemo' and I fully understand 'why' men always hand the map over to us and they almost always fall for those little right pointing hand gestures whilst we say 'left'.......I do it just to see if they're paying attention whilst driving I should be ashamed to tease and taunt the less abled!

True Grandad that's why we end up going down narrow lanes and crossing streams when listening to one.

Brilliant - I'm with you on the toilet roll one - I have managed to get him to take the rolls out of the big packet and put them in the cupboard, but why can't he get them out again when needed. And yes, that one square - just why do they do that - and then it's me having to shout for more loo roll.

Listen up all you ladies, the answer to us leaving the one square is quite simple, it is to REMIND you that the bog roll needs changing. I would have thought that after all these years you would have made that simple connection.

Re: Taken for a ride
My son must be learning early, he always leaves the roll with 2-3 squares then gets a new 1 out & leaves it balanced on the radiator just 2 ins from the holder, when I ask him " why do that & not put it on the holder" his reply............" its a womans job".........cheeky sod
