Here once we pass September it is apparently verboten to wear white or light coloured clothes. I get that if you wear dark it apparently absorbes more sun (what sun??? none round about here) and hence keeps you warmer.
Is there an equivalent in Egypt? I've never noticed it myself and most of the women tend to dark colours all year round. In Saudi the men are mostly in thobes (white) but women still in the darker colours. Any idea how this evolved or where it came from that mostly the women are in darker colours?
