Cider with Rosie
Just thought I would resurrect his topic! At the moment I am re-reading the Laurie Lee trilogy, and it's been so long since I last read it that it's almost like reading a new book. What's everyone else reading?

Lately I've been on a bender of reading Memoirs of survivors of the Holocaust. I seem to be fascinated with what they went through.

Joseph Heller's Catch-22 for the umpteenth time, I seem to find a new angle in it every time.
Smile! It confuses people

I don't read much nowadays, not enough time and it also strains my eyes, I used to read a lot and have literally thousands of EPUB & Mobi book files for use on either Kindle or other readers that I used to collect for Mrs H.

Re: Cider with Rosie
I loved Catch 22 and have read it a couple times. Not lately but it was a really terrific book that had an excellent take on things.
I read all the time but I haven't really come across a book that I'd glow about. I read very enjoyable books that I like but I haven't found one that I'd put down as a possible classic.
