Just finished "The Reluctant Fundamentalist" - easy read of a weekend with a real twist at the end. It has been made into a movie.

"Betty's Child" was a free ebook on Amazon which is quite a page turner as you share Donny's experiences at the hands of his mother Betty.

I've just finished 'And the Mountains Echoed' which is Khaled Hosseini's new book. A well written book but I found it a bit confusing with so many threads and flashbacks. Not one to keep on my bookshelf for future perusal. :(

@RS- I saw that new book and was mulling over reading it but haven't gotten that book yet.

LLL, I have 'The Kite Runner' and 'A Thousand Splendid Suns' on my bookshelf and have read both several times, but I won't bother to buy this new one because I don't think I would want to read it again. Don't get me wrong - I enjoyed it but it didn't 'capture' me like the first two.

Interesting to know. Kite Runner was fantastic, haven't read Thousand Suns yet but it is on my list.
