Hi Sarah Jane, If you go to the top of the page and select 'Profile' then scroll down to the bottom part of the page you will see a section called 'Avatar Control Panel' by following the instructions you can change your avatar. Remember to tick the box to delete your old one
(it is beneath your avatar in the Profile section) you can then either choose a new one from the list available, or if you a clever, design your own and use the 'Browse' option in that section to search for it on your own PC and upload it as your new one.
Remember not to exceed the pixel sizes given in the information box. Good luck, but if you need any help just shout

Like many people I know, I rarely visit Egypt4U - the last time was 4th Feb! - and I have 76 new posts since last visit to wade through.
However, the majority of the posters are the same as on Luxor4U, and many topics are duplicated on both forums.
Maybe it is time to realise that Luxor is only a small part of Egypt, and it's forum should be merged with this one - if only to stop the duplication of effort.

Thanks Stan. This forum will grow once we start promoting it, just as L4U several years ago. Cairo is so different from Luxor that it is appropriate for this part of Egypt to have it's own site.

I'd just been sorting a few new posts for the History section when sod's law hits and my laptop dies. A borrowed computer doesn't really cut the mustard. Back to the drawing board...
Even though Luxor always rules supreme in my heart this site is a good prod to keep in my mind that there's so much more to egypt than Luxor. I like that it has the same layout (different colour) to L4U which makes it kind of feel like a home away from home
