I wish someone would invent a truly non-stick wok! :urm: I have tried many and all sorts of methods but my fried rice still sticks! :td

Indeed I do, Horus! I also let the wok heat up before I put the oil in - and yes! I also let the oil get hot before the ingredients go in! The only consolation I give myself is that seeing Chinese people cooking it, theirs stick too, and they lift out a wok shaped rice crust at the end of the evening, break it up and sell it! :lol:

Strange that I never seem to get that problem, maybe I use more oil?

My rice sticks. Doesn't much matter what I do my rice sticks. I've given up trying to figure it out and just live with having to soak the wok in hot water soon as I get the food out of it.
