Photo Uploading
My mission for today is to upload a few piccies of Rosetta.
So I've opened my album, got to the upload box thingy, browsed for the picture .... but then I'm not sure if the link appears in the box because I can't see it. If I get really close up to the screen with my left eyeball, it's possible that the link is there but written in a colour almost the same as the background - so I'm not sure until it actually opens if that was the picture I meant or not.
Is this a just me problem?

[face=Comic Sans MS]So what colour background do you have for the 'Green side'?[/face]Goddess wrote:Maybe my problem is that I don't have a spruce geeen colour setting on my PC like BB?!
Seriously - it was grey on grey! Honest Gov!

It's moments like this I wish I'd paid attention when whoever it was described how to do a screenshot a few months back to show what I mean!HEPZIBAH wrote:[face=Comic Sans MS]So what colour background do you have for the 'Green side'?[/face]Goddess wrote:Maybe my problem is that I don't have a spruce geeen colour setting on my PC like BB?!

If you click the resize image thingy over there on the floaty menu on the left another page pops up - have a peep and see if the space to put the file location is grey - When I do it and press the browse button and enter the file name - it goes back to this screen - and the file name seems to be written in grey inside the grey box - so I can't see the name at all.
(And I have a GREEN background not a geeen one like BB over there! )

Goddess, Just press your 'PrtSc/SysRq' button next to 'Scroll Lock' it will now be on your clipboard. Open your paint or photo program, right click your mouse and 'Paste' into your application. By the way I get all sorts of weird screens on this forum, I often get a white box when posting and sometimes the print is black against a green background, barely readable

[face=Comic Sans MS]If it's any consolation I had exactly the same question when I tried it recently. Worked it out - eventually!Goddess wrote:I was about to say, "but where's my clipboard" - we'll just gloss over that bit shall we?!
Meanwhile back to the Green & Grey - when I use the Extras menu slide bar to resize as requested I get a green page not grey. [/face]

Stand back in amazement, people!
Goddess has solved yet another mystery!
Since DJK said it was fine (and his word is law!) I sat and opened it, and left it for a while to finish loading and no advancement on the situation so I decided it must be me ... or rather it must be Mozilla! So I just opened up the resize page in IE - and no grey box!
Glad I solved all my mysteries by myself!

I use Firefox and just checked out the picture resize and Goddess is absolutely right (of course!). The file name text is not shown in the grey window. Had you forgotten this?
