I just want to bring this over from the Luxor forum to this one, as it has occurred in Cairo.

Good news, ive just picked up this message on Facebook...
Members, we have good news! I have just sent you a message on behalf of Dave Nellist asking you to join a cause to support the release of Manal and her two sons. Since then I have received information that earlier this morning Manal and her sons had been given permission to leave Egypt! I believe she is now making the necessary travel arrangements and will be back with us as soon as possible. More news to follow.

An update as Ive put also on the blue side
Just got back from collecting them at the airport. They had MI5 waiting for them as they stepped into the airport.
They are all well and glad to be back to where they now think of as home. Manal still isn't sure what occurred, but the authorities in Egypt are now saying its a case of mistaken identity.
Thanks all for your wellwishes, she said everyones thoughts really kept her going.

[face=Comic Sans MS]Thanks Lisak. She is not going to remember me from my one brief visit to the restaurant with you but, never the less, please would you pass on my best wishes to Manel and her sons - I remember one of them serving us that night - and I hope that this is now an end to the problem for her. Bet there's going to be some celebrating in Coventry this week. [/face]
